What is your background?

We bring complementary skill-sets. Ryan's experience is in strategic marketing roles for large B2B organisations, delivering enterprise platforms and leading global digital marketing strategy. Stuart has more than 10 years of classroom teaching experience. For the past 7 years he has worked in the largest primary school in NI where he is a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

What problem are you solving?

Parent-teacher meetings can be difficult for parents to schedule and they are often left without clear next steps for their children to take. They are also extremely arduous for teachers to prepare for. Equipple is an app that takes the pain out of these meetings by automating the scheduling and syncing the most important data directly for teachers.

Who and where are your potential customers?

Our customers are schools, multi-academy trusts and education authorities. Our solution helps them to improve pupil outcomes through better parent-teacher communication. Equipple raises the standards of excellence across the whole school, while simultaneously reducing the teacher workload.

What do you think is the potential for your business?

Parent-teacher meetings are a universal issue facing schools all around the world. We are excited about the opportunity to introduce our solution to schools everywhere who are looking to up their game and improve the quality and effectiveness of their parent-teacher meetings.

Where do you hope to be 5 years from now?

We hope that in 5 years our Parent-Teacher Meetings app will be making a real difference for teachers and parents worldwide, meeting both the needs of over-worked teachers and, at the same time, driving standards of teaching and learning.
